Regen

What Regen is

At the end of every combat turn you survive, Regen heals you for its flat amount, capped at your max health. It never triggers on a fatal turn and never revives you, so it stretches a fight but cannot save a losing one.

Your Regen

Flat sources: Regen Mastery tree nodes add 0.05 each, the Regen trinket prefix rolls 0.03 to 0.06 on 1x1 and 0.03 to 0.09 on 2x2, and the trinket implicits and Codex stack the same nodes. All flat sources add together, then every increased source (Increased Regen Mastery nodes at 10% each and the Increased Regen trinket suffix at 3% to 6% on 1x1 and 3% to 9% on 2x2) adds into one bucket applied once. So the healing is (node flats + roll flats) x (1 + increased%).

When it heals

After every turn you survive, both styles, at the same rate for melee and ranged. The enemy side has a Regen slot too and it is 0 for now, so enemies never heal yet. Healed HP is capped at your max, so overhealing is wasted.

Worked examples

The formula again: (node flats + roll flats) x (1 + increased%). At level 50 a full setup heals enough to flip close fights, and the value fades as enemies outgrow it.

Where Regen comes from

• Passive tree: Regen Mastery adds 0.05 per node, Increased Regen Mastery adds 10% increased per node.
• Trinkets: the Regen prefix rolls 0.03 to 0.06 on 1x1 and 0.03 to 0.09 on 2x2. The Increased Regen suffix rolls 3% to 6% on 1x1 and 3% to 9% on 2x2.
• Engraver's Punch: the Toughness punch paints the Regen and Increased Regen rolls.
• Axioms: Sure Strikes turns melee regen off while making every blow land. Ranged keeps its regen.
• Trinket implicits and the Codex: Regen Mastery and Increased Regen Mastery stack there like every other mastery.
