Bleed

Melee blows can open bleeding wounds. Every stack grinds the enemy down each turn and stacks never cap.

What Bleed is

Every landed melee blow rolls your Bleed Chance. When it procs the enemy gains a bleeding wound, one stack per proc, and there is no cap on stacks. At the end of every combat turn each stack deals 1% of the enemy's maximum health, right before both sides regenerate. A bleed tick can land the killing blow. Stacks belong to the enemy you are fighting, so a fresh spawn starts clean. Ranged fighters never bleed, and Thorn Mail builds never bleed because they never land a manual blow.

Your Bleed Chance

It starts at 0% and only grows from Bleed Mastery tree nodes and the Bleed Chance trinket suffix. Both add flat chance, so Bleed Mastery nodes add 1% each and a 2x2 Bleed Chance roll adds 3% to 9%. There is no increased Bleed Chance bucket. At 0% the roll never runs.

Where it comes from

  • Passive tree: Bleed Mastery adds 1% Bleed Chance per node. Melee only.
  • Trinkets: the Bleed Chance suffix rolls 3% to 6% on 1x1 and 3% to 9% on 2x2.
  • Bleed Chance is flat, every source simply adds together.
