Contracts
Players post paid jobs and other players take them: caravan deliveries, processing runs and consumable crafting.
- Posting slots2, plus Bank levels
- Types3
- Bank+1 payout % per level
How contracts work
A maker posts a contract with a payment attached. A taker does the work and collects the payment on delivery. Caravan contracts move goods, processing contracts refine materials and consumable contracts craft rare consumables.
Posting slots and the Bank
You can post 2 contracts at once, any mix of the three types. Base Bank levels add 1 more posting slot per 50 levels. The Bank also grows the contracts you post: +50 items to the processing cap, +60 seconds to the caravan cap and +1% increased payout per effective level. Consumable contracts get no Bank bonuses.
Reserved contracts
When posting, you can name a player to reserve the contract. Only that player can accept it for the first 10 seconds, then it opens to everyone. The name must match an existing player, and the field suggests names once you type 3 letters.
Guild postings
When players post few contracts, the Forge and Merchants Guilds post their own processing and caravan jobs, so the board stays busy. Guild contracts work exactly like player contracts and retire on their own after a day. The filter buttons at the top of the board can hide each guild separately. The best guild jobs carry a tier badge and need guild reputation to accept.
Finding work
The buttons at the top of the board hide each contract type and each guild. Runnable only, the switch beside the sort picker, shows just the contracts you can accept right now: anything blocked by your level, a deadline you cannot beat, a processing job estimated to take you 6 hours or more, a full taker slot, someone else's reservation, a guild tier above yours, or Convert To Azurite is hidden, while your own postings stay pinned at the top.
What takers earn
- The posted payment, collected on delivery.
- Their own skill XP for the work.
- Guild reputation with the posting guild.
- Caravan contracts pay 10% of normal Trade and Account XP, but the Azurite payout is not reduced.
- 10x procs can land while filling a processing contract.
