Guild Reputation

Complete contracts to earn standing with the Forge and Merchants Guilds. Higher standing pays more, unlocks bigger jobs and drops bonus caches.

Earning reputation

Every processing, consumable or caravan contract you complete as the taker earns reputation with that guild, guild posted and player posted alike. Processing pays by units, caravans by wealth, consumables by what the crafts cost, so a one item contract is worth almost nothing and a huge one is worth a lot. Your progress never resets.

What reputation gives

  • +0.5% increased Azurite payout per level on that guild's contracts.
  • Forge Reputation and Merchants Reputation Mastery tree nodes add 0.1 flat reputation per node on every gain.
  • Forge Payout Mastery adds 3% increased payout per node on processing and consumable contracts, Merchants Payout Mastery adds 3% on caravan contracts.
  • Bigger, better paying guild jobs on the board as your standing grows.
  • Bonus caches on any guild contract: coins, skill consumables or trinkets.
  • An achievement for each track, plus a chat rank at level 50: Ironmaster, Trade Magnate or Benefactor.

Guild tiers

Guild posted listings roll a tier every time the board refreshes. Each tier is a longer job at a better rate than the one below it, so a higher tier is never a smaller job. Processing jobs count units, caravans count wealth. Past T6 the ladder never stops: every 25 more guild levels unlocks the next tier, each one 50% bigger at a better rate.

TierRequiresJob sizeRate
T1Lv.0300-1,000 units+0.00
T2Lv.21,000-2,000 units+0.01
T3Lv.52,000-3,200 units+0.02
T4Lv.103,200-4,600 units+0.03
T5Lv.204,600-6,500 units+0.04
T6Lv.356,500-9,000 units+0.05

Caravan tiers

Caravans use the same tier ladder measured in wealth instead of units: 500-1,200, 1,200-2,400, 2,400-4,000, 4,000-6,000, 6,000-8,500 and 8,500-12,000 for T1 through T6, then 50% bigger per tier with no ceiling. Low tiers haul cheap goods, the top tiers move the valuable ones.

Bonus caches

Any guild contract can drop a bonus cache when you complete it, and both the chance and the size grow with your reputation level in that guild. The chance is 10% at level 1 and 2% higher per level after that, up to 100% at level 46. A dropped cache makes 10 global drop rolls on each of the coin, skill consumable and trinket tables per reputation level, so a level 50 cache rolls 500 times on each table. The rolls use your own drop bonuses, and each roll can still come up empty, so a small cache often gives nothing.

Guild Patronage

Patronage grows when contracts you posted are completed, no matter who takes them. Every level makes posting cheaper: the Azurite you pay on processing and consumable posts is multiplied by 0.99 per level, with no cap. Your posted caravans are also worth +0.5% more per level, shared between you and the taker.

Guild titles

Standing also earns a title. Forge: Apprentice, Journeyman, Craftsman, Master Smith, Forge Master, Grand Master. Merchants: Peddler, Trader, Merchant, Trade Captain, Trade Baron, Grand Patron.

Where to see it

The Guild Standing bar at the top of the Contracts tab shows both guilds and your patronage with progress bars. Hover a card for the exact bonuses and what unlocks next.
