Day Points

Points earned by Adventure ticks and spent in the Daybook on permanent changes to how days are built.

How you earn them

Every paid Adventure tick counts toward the next Day Point, 1 point per 250 ticks. Paid means a tick that actually ran an action, online or away. Leftover ticks carry into the next point, so nothing is wasted. Guided days count the same as any other day. The Daybook Quick Wage node lowers the ticks a point needs, down to 25.

Bonus points

Steady Wage adds 10% per level to the chance that a cleared day pays 1 extra Day Point, up to 30% at 3 levels.

The Daybook

  • Opened from the Adventure panel. Day Points are spent nowhere else.
  • It holds 33 nodes that change how days are built: fewer ticks per card, more cards, bigger day-end rewards, extra ticks for one skill, cheaper Day Points, free skips, Second Wind, per-skill focus and a doubled reward every 5th day.
  • Undoing a level costs Errant's Coins. Day Points are not refunded.

Costs

  • Every node costs its base price plus a step for each level already owned, so the second level always costs more than the first.
  • Maxing the 25 capped nodes costs 1,242 Day Points in total, about 310,500 paid ticks.
  • The five tick nodes have no level cap. Four of them cost 1 Day Point plus 1 per level owned, and Battle Ticks costs 5 plus 5 per level.
  • Quick Wage has no level cap either, but it stops at 225 levels: it takes 1 tick off every Day Point a level, from 250 down to the 25 floor, and costs 5 plus 2 a level.

Good to know

  • Day Points never expire and survive a day roll.
  • Day Points Earned and Day Points Spent have their own leaderboards, and Adventure Ticks ranks lifetime paid ticks.
