Private messages between two players, in a conversation list, with blocking.
- Command/whisper or /w
What they are
Whispers are private messages, visible only to you and the other player. Your conversations sit in a list on the left, and the open chat is on the right. A chat follows the player, not an account, and reaches them wherever they are playing.
Sending
- Type /whisper <name> <message> or /w in any chat.
- Click a name and press Whisper to start a chat.
- Unread whispers show a count and a pulsing dot on the Whisper tab, including when you log back in.
Blocking
Press Block at the top of a chat to stop that player whispering you. Unblock the same way. Press Report to report them.
